On Sunday 23rd November 2014, Bolton Bulls travel to Derby to take on the Derby Wheelblazers in the GBWBA Third Division North / Midlands. The last time the two teams played each other was in the Second Division in the 2012-13 season with Derby picking up two narrow victories, 36 – 24 at home and 40 – 33 at Bolton.
Bolton Bulls have had a mixed season so far this season, picking up two wins and two losses, whereas Derby have so far lost both of their two games to Sheffield Steelers. However, they were both very narrow losses, losing by 7 points away to Sheffield and losing by just a single point at home.
The last match for Bolton Bulls saw the team travel to Worcester to play the Worcester Wolves. Whilst we lost 33 – 22, we took away plenty of positives and lots of things to work on in training. We had a tough training session last Thursday and we will no doubt have another tough session this Thursday before the match.
We are expecting another close match between Bolton Bulls and Derby Wheelblazers and with the return fixture in Bolton coming up on Sunday 14th December 2014, we will be hoping to return the favour from the 2012-13 season and win both matches. The match tips off at 3pm at Derby College Sports Hall, Prince Charles Avenue, Mackworth, Derby, DE22 4LR.
Keep your eye on our Twitter feed @BoltonBulls on Sunday as we build up to the match and we’ll provide updates during the match as much as we can.
